Privacy notice

Updated 15 September 2026

This notice covers visits to this website and enquiries made to Lucidworx LTD. Contact us if you need information about records for a particular installation or monitoring service.

Who is responsible

Lucidworx LTD is the controller of personal information used to handle your enquiry. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 16464026. Our registered office is Unit 2 32-34 Station Close, 32-34 Station Close, Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, EN6 1TL.

For privacy enquiries, email hello@lucidworx.co.uk, telephone 07947 819 778 or write to our registered office.

Information collected

The enquiry form collects your name, email address, telephone number, property postcode, customer type, selected service and project description. We also receive information you provide in subsequent correspondence. Please avoid including alarm codes, passwords, payment-card details or sensitive personal information.

Website and form providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested pages and request times to deliver and protect their services.

Why we use it

Providing information is voluntary. Fields marked as required are needed to send the online form; you can also contact us by telephone or email. Without sufficient details we may be unable to assess or answer your request. The form does not enrol you in a marketing mailing list or make automated decisions about your eligibility or quotation.

Service providers and overseas processing

Formspree processes the submitted form and sends an email notification to Lucidworx. Our email service handles the resulting correspondence. OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure deliver this website. Providers may handle technical data to operate and secure these services. Relevant information may also be disclosed where required by law.

Formspree states that it uses infrastructure in the United States and may process information in other countries where it operates. Its security information says it relies on Standard Contractual Clauses as a data processor. These are contractual safeguards for international transfers. Its privacy policy explains its processing. Contact us to request further information or a copy of the safeguards relevant to your enquiry.

How long information is kept

The retention period depends on whether an enquiry is active, whether follow-up is reasonably needed, whether work proceeds and whether information is needed for a complaint, legal obligation or potential claim. Completed-job records may need to be retained separately for certification, accounting, warranty and related purposes.

Copies in the Formspree dashboard and our email account are separate. Removal from one does not automatically remove the other. You can contact us to ask about retention or request deletion of your information.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction of use or transfer of your information. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the details above and explain your circumstances. We may need to verify your identity before handling a request.

You can raise a concern with us or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator.

Fonts, links and website technologies

This website loads Montserrat through Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to retrieve the font files, which exposes connection information such as your IP address. See Google Fonts privacy information.

Our Google review and WhatsApp links open external services. Their own privacy information applies when you use them. The project video is hosted with this website. We have not added advertising pixels or an analytics tracking script to the website. Hosting and form-security services may use technologies needed to deliver or protect their services.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page when our website or information-handling arrangements change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
